"authentic according to the criteria of the two shaykhs," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him! I said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Dailamī - who is the son of Fīrūz - was not included by the two shaykhs, nor was ʿĀṣim ibn Ḥakīm who is in the chain to him, and they are both trustworthy, so the isnād is only authentic. Khālid ibn Duraik followed him from Yaʿlá ibn Umayyah with a similar narration. It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/223). I said: Its isnād is good, its men are trustworthy. Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-ʿIrāqī mentioned in "Takhrīj al-Iḥyāʾ" (4/310) a supporting narration from al-Ṭabarānī in "Musnad al-Shāmiyyīn" from Abū (meaning Ibn Kaʿb) who said: "I sought the help of a man to fight with me..." a similar ḥadīth. He remained silent about its isnād and the isnād of Abū Dāwūd as well!

"Indeed, Allāh and His angels send blessings upon those who straighten the rows." It was recorded by Ibn Wahb in "al-Jāmiʿ" (58/2) from Usāmah ibn Zayd al-Laythī from ʿUthmān ibn ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr from his father from ʿĀʾishah, the wife of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said: and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is good from the narration of Ibn Wahb from Usāmah. Al-Ḥākim narrated it from this route and authenticated it, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. Sufyān al-Thawrī followed him from Usāmah with it. A group narrated it from Sufyān. Muʿāwiyah ibn Hishām differed with them in its text, narrating from Sufyān with the wording: "... send blessings upon the right sides of the rows." This wording is not preserved as al-Bayhaqī said, although al-Mundhirī and others considered it good as I clarified in "Ḍaʿīf Abī Dāwūd" (104).
