it is also an error, and it is likely a typographical mistake that al-Aʿẓamī did not notice in his commentary on "al-Kashf," and the correct version is (ibn ʿAmr) with the ʿayn having a fatḥah. The ḥadīth is authentic, as it has many supporting narrations, as I have clarified in "al-Taʿlīq al-Raghīb ʿalá al-Targhīb wa-al-Tarhīb." One of these is mentioned (3/4) from the ḥadīth of Kaʿb ibn ʿUjrah and is recorded by Baḥshal al-Wāsitī in "Tārīkh Wāsiṭ" (p. 146). There is another chain for the ḥadīth, narrated by Sulaymān ibn Kaysān from Hārūn ibn Rāshid from Abū Hurayrah with a similar wording. It was recorded by Isḥāq ibn Rāhwayh in "Musnad" (4/42/2). Regarding this Hārūn, al-Dhahabī said: "He narrated from a Successor from Abū Hurayrah, unknown, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in (al-Thiqāt)."

"I find nothing for him in this expedition in this world and the Hereafter except the dinars he named."
