I said: This is a good isnād according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī. It has also been recorded by him and Muslim through another route from Abū Hurayrah in a similar, extended form, and it will appear, if Allāh wills, under number (2741).

"No Muslim's heart is touched by the dust in the path of Allāh, except that Allāh makes the fire forbidden for him." I said: He was followed by Suwayd ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz, who narrated it from al-Awzāʿī. It was recorded by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Jihād" (folio 84/1). Suwayd is lenient in ḥadīth, as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," and he is used for supporting evidence. He has another route with him, recorded from Ḥafṣ ibn Jamīʿ, from al-Mughīrah, from al-Ḥakam, from ʿAṭāʾ, from her. Ḥafṣ is also weak.
