the first: what is in "Ḍuʿafāʾ al-Dhahabī" is verbatim: "A well-known trustworthy [narrator], Abū Dāwūd said: weak." An additional version states: "And he also said: trustworthy." So his statement: "A well-known trustworthy [narrator]" makes it very clear that he is considered trustworthy by him, not weak, and al-Munāwī's omission of this explicit authentication is evidently significant. What supports what I said is that he mentioned him in his book "Maʿrifat al-Ruwāt al-Mutakallam fīhim bimā lā Yūjib al-Radd" (p. 137/212), and said: "A shaykh of al-Bukhārī, Abū Dāwūd weakened him." the other: what he quoted from Ibn Ḥibbān was actually said in "al-Ḍuʿafāʾ" (2/138) regarding Ibn Zubālah, who is not the narrator of this ḥadīth, but rather (al-Darāwardī), who is considered trustworthy by Ibn Ḥibbān and others, with a slight weakness in his memory, so his ḥadīth does not fall below the level of ḥasan, and Muslim used it as evidence.

Al-Tirmidhī said: "A ḥasan gharīb ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth, and Abū ʿAbs's name is ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Jabr." ʿUtbah ibn Abī Ḥakīm narrated from Ḥuṣayn from Abū al-Muṣbiḥ from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh in a marfūʿ form with a similar meaning.
