"al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but errs." I said: In summary, the ḥadīth of the translation is ḥasan, rather it is ṣaḥīḥ with these two witnesses. And Allāh knows best.

"He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and respect to our elders." It was narrated by al-Tirmidhī (1/349) from ʿUbayd ibn Wāqid from Zarbi who said: I heard Anas ibn Mālik say: "An old man came wanting the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and the people delayed in making space for him, so the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said..." and he mentioned it. He said: "A strange ḥadīth, and Zarbi has strange narrations from Anas ibn Mālik and others." I said: In "al-Taqrīb" it is mentioned that he is weak, and the same was said about ʿUbayd ibn Wāqid. However, the ḥadīth is ṣaḥīḥ, as it has a witness from the narration of Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather in a marfūʿ form. It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (358) and Aḥmad (2/207) from this chain with the wording: "and recognizes the right of our elders." And it is a narration for al-Bukhārī (355). Its isnād is ḥasan except for the ʿanʿanah of Ibn Isḥāq, and it has another authentic chain from Ibn ʿAmr with the second wording, and I have documented it in "al-Targhīb" (1/66)
