except that Darrāj is known for having unreliable narrations. Fourth: from Anas ibn Mālik, in a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording: "If a stone with seven layers of fat and their offspring were thrown into Hell, it would fall for seventy years without reaching its bottom." It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá (3/1014) from Yazīd al-Raqāshī from him. I say: Its narrators are trustworthy, except for Yazīd al-Raqāshī, who is weak, but it is supported by what follows. Fifth: from some of the scholars that Muʿādh ibn Jabal used to report that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it similar to the ḥadīth of Anas. It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its narrators are those of the authentic collections, except that the narrator from Muʿādh is not named, as in "al-Targhīb" (4/231) and "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (10/389). And it was mentioned with a supporting narration from Abū Umāmah with al-Ṭabarānī, with a chain containing weak narrators, whom Ibn Ḥibbān considered reliable.
