It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (3862), who said: "A ḥasan gharīb ḥadīth." And I say: This exception is objectionable to me because Khadāsh, despite being lenient in ḥadīth as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," has introduced this addition, "the exception," without the trustworthy narrators who transmitted it from Abū al-Zubayr, thus it is objectionable.

- "The one who practices divination or has it practiced for him, or returns from a journey due to a bad omen, will not enter the highest ranks." It was narrated by Tamām in "al-Fawāʾid" (224/1, no. 2307 - my copy) from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sulaymān al-Ḥaḍramī al-Kūfī, who said: Yaḥyá ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, Ibrāhīm ibn Yazīd narrated to us, Raqabah ibn Miṣqalah narrated to us from Rajāʾ ibn Ḥaywah from Umm al-Dardāʾ from Abū al-Dardāʾ as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Ibn al-Muḥibb wrote in the margin of "al-Fawāʾid" the following: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥaḍramī and he said: 'from' and in it: (from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr from Rajāʾ ibn Ḥaywah)." I say: This isnād is good, its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs except for Yaḥyá ibn Dāwūd ibn Maymūn al-Wāsiṭī, whom Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned in "al-Thiqāt," and he said (9/266): "His ḥadīth is reliable." And Ibrāhīm ibn Yazīd, who is Ibn Mardānah al-Qurashī al-Makhzūmī, the client of ʿAmr ibn Ḥurayth, is truthful. And the ḥadīth, al-Mundhirī said (4/53) and was followed by al-Haythamī (5/118): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī with two isnāds, the narrators of one of them are trustworthy."
