and in a narration by him (6/362) from the route of Zāʾidah from Sulaymān (who is al-Aʿmash) from Abū Sufyān from Jābir from Umm Mubashshir who said: "The servant of Ḥāṭib came and said: By Allāh, Ḥāṭib will not enter Paradise! The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: You have lied, he witnessed Badr and Ḥudaybiyah." I say: And this isnād is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. Abū al-Zubayr corroborated it, as he heard Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh say: Umm Mubashshir informed me that she heard the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say in the presence of Ḥafṣah: None of the people of the tree who pledged allegiance under it will enter the Fire, if Allāh wills. She said: Yes, O Messenger of Allāh! He rebuked her, and Ḥafṣah said: * "There is not one of you but will pass over it" * (1) The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: Indeed, Allāh has said: * "Then We will save those who feared Allāh and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees" * (2). It was recorded by Muslim (7/169) and narrated by Aḥmad (3/350) in a shortened form and by Ibn Saʿd (2/100-101) in its entirety from the route of Wahb ibn Munabbih from Jābir with it. And by al-Marwazī in "Zawāʾid al-Zuhd" (1417) from the route of Abū al-Zubayr. And in a narration by Muslim from him: "A servant of Ḥāṭib came to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) complaining about Ḥāṭib, saying: O Messenger of Allāh! Ḥāṭib will surely enter the Fire. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: You have lied, he will not enter it, for he witnessed Badr and Ḥudaybiyah." Aḥmad also recorded it (3/325 and 349). Khudāsh contradicted them from Abū al-Zubayr with it, raised, with the wording: "Those who pledged allegiance under the tree will surely enter Paradise, except the owner of the red camel."
