similar to it, he inserted his father Mālik between ʿAbd al-Raḥmān and Surāqah. Aḥmad also recorded it. Its narrators are those of al-Bukhārī. Then he recorded it through the route of Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī from ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr from Surāqah ibn Mālik with it. Its chain is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim]. Ibn Ḥibbān also recorded it (860) through the route of Ibn Wahb: Yūnus narrated to us from Ibn Shihāb from Maḥmūd ibn al-Rabīʿ that Surāqah ibn Mālik said: and he mentioned it. Its chain is also authentic, and al-Zuhrī is an eminent ḥāfiẓ, so it is not surprising that he had several teachers in the ḥadīth, as is not hidden from those engaged in this noble science. The ḥadīth has a supporting narration from Usāmah that ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb narrated to him from his father from his grandfather. " that a man came to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: ... " and he mentioned it. Aḥmad recorded it (2/222) and its chain is good. The man mentioned appears to be Surāqah ibn Mālik. And Allāh knows best.
"The warrior has his reward, and the one who equips him has his reward and the reward of the warrior." It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd (1/396 - Tāziyah), al-Ṭaḥāwī in "al-Mushkil" (4/272), Abū ʿAwānah in "Ṣaḥīḥ" (21/1), and Aḥmad (2/174) from Ibn Shafīʿ from Shafīʿ from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. From this route, it was narrated by Abū Mūsá al-Madīnī in "al-Laṭāʾif" (66/1) from al-Ṭabarānī and others. I say: This is an authentic chain, all its narrators are trustworthy.
