"It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr," and the men of al-Ṭabarānī are reliable because it is from the narration of Muḥammad ibn Ṭaḥlāʾ from Abū Salamah. As for Abū Sulaymān, who is in the isnād of Aḥmad, I do not know him, nor have I seen anyone who has translated him." I said: What is in the printed "al-Musnad" is "Sulaym," and whether this is correct or it is Abū Sulaymān, he is not among the men of the isnād of the ḥadīth as is apparent, so there is no reason to criticize the isnād of Aḥmad because of him. Then he mentioned a supporting narration for the ḥadīth from the ḥadīth of Abū Ayyūb from the narration of al-Ṭabarānī with an isnād whose men are the men of the authentic [collections].
