from my grandfather, from Mūsá ibn Ṭalḥah, from his father, in a marfūʿ manner, similar to it, and it includes a story, with the wording: "He would hardly be asked for anything except that he would do it." This isnād is weak. Sulaymān ibn Ayyūb—who is the son of Sulaymān ibn Mūsá ibn Ṭalḥah al-Taymī—was described by al-Ḥāfiẓ as "truthful but makes mistakes." His son, Ayyūb ibn Sulaymān, whose lineage was traced by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (1/1/248), inserted ʿĪsá between his father Sulaymān and his grandfather Mūsá, so according to him, he is Ayyūb ibn Sulaymān ibn ʿĪsá ibn Mūsá ibn Ṭalḥah.
