Then Abū al-Shaykh recorded it from the narration of Jābir, ʿĀʾishah, and Abū Usayd with similar wording. It was recorded by al-Tayālisī (2437 - its arrangement) and al-Dārimī (1/34) and Muslim and Ibn Saʿd (1/368) from Jābir. And al-Dārimī from Sahl ibn Saʿd. And Aḥmad (3/497) from Abū Usayd. Ibn Saʿd recorded with a good chain from Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥanafīyah who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) would hardly ever say 'no' to anything; if he was asked and intended to do it, he would say 'yes,' and if he did not intend to do it, he remained silent, and that was known from him."
