is supported by this, as his age was about twenty-five years when Anas died, and he was not known for tadlīs, so his narration from him is considered connected according to the majority. And Allāh knows best. There is also supporting evidence from the ḥadīth of Mālik ibn al-Ḥuwayrith, elevated with the wording: "He was compassionate and gentle." It was recorded by al-Shaykhān and others.

"He was broad-shouldered, with thick eyelashes, distant between the shoulders, he approached entirely and withdrew entirely, he was neither obscene nor vulgar nor loud in the markets." It was recorded by al-Ṭayālisī (2413 - his arrangement), Aḥmad (2/328 and 448), Ibn Saʿd (1/414), and al-Bayhaqī (1/181) from Ibn Abī Dhiʾb from Ṣāliḥ, the client of al-Tawʾamah, from Abū Hurayrah, elevated. It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī in "al-Shamāʾil" (p. 39 - its abridgment), Ibn Mājah (2/383), Aḥmad (2/90), and Abū al-Shaykh (p. 309) from Sharīk from ʿUbayd Allāh from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar, elevated.
