"When something alarmed him, he would say: 'He is Allāh, my Lord, I associate nothing with Him.'" It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī in "ʿAmal al-Yawm wa-al-Laylah" (657) and from him by Ibn al-Sunnī in "ʿAmal al-Yawm wa-al-Laylah" number (330) and by Abū Nuʿaym (5/219) from Sahl ibn Hāshim, narrated to us by al-Thawrī from Thawr ibn Yazīd from Khālid ibn Maʿdān from Thawbān (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu): that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to... to the end. Abū Nuʿaym said: "It was not narrated from al-Thawrī except by Sahl ibn Hāshim." I say: He is trustworthy, and those above him are trustworthy from the men of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim], so the chain is authentic.

"When he raised his head from bowing in the morning prayer in the last rakʿah, he would supplicate." It was narrated by Ibn Naṣr in "Qiyām al-Layl" p. (132) who said: Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd ibn Ḥisāb narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us from al-Zuhrī from Saʿīd from Abū Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to... I say: This is an authentic chain according to the criteria of Muslim, and he has also recorded it (2/135) through two other routes from Ibn ʿUyaynah with it. He and al-Bukhārī (3/217-218) and Aḥmad (2/255) have recorded it through other routes from al-Zuhrī with a more complete version. (Note): The supplication mentioned in this ḥadīth is the supplication of distress, as evidenced by his saying in the ḥadīth of the two Shaykhs: "He would pray for the believers and curse the disbelievers." See "al-Irwāʾ" (2/160-164). More explicit than this is the narration of Ibn Khuzaymah with the wording: "He would not supplicate except to pray for someone or against someone." Its chain is authentic.
