- "When the two circumcised parts meet, he performed ghusl." It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/123 and 227) and al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Sharḥ al-Maʿānī" (1/33) from Ḥammād ibn Salamah who said: Thābit al-Bunānī narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Rabāḥ from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn al-Nuʿmān from ʿĀʾishah who said: and he mentioned it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: This isnād [chain of narration] has narrators who are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim, except for ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn al-Nuʿmān, whom only Ibn Ḥibbān has deemed reliable. And Ḥammād ibn Salamah has another isnād, narrated from ʿAlī ibn Zayd from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib from her with it. Al-Ṭaḥāwī also recorded it. And ʿAlī ibn Zayd - who is Ibn Judʿān - is weak. But there is another route, as Bishr ibn Bakr said: al-Awzāʿī narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Qāsim narrated to me from his father from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā): "She was asked about a man who engages in intercourse but does not ejaculate? She said: I did it with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and we performed ghusl from it together." Al-Ṭaḥāwī recorded it. I say: Its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim]. And Muslim recorded it (1/187) through another route from her similar to it, and it contains a questionable phrase for which I included it in "al-Ḍaʿīfah." In summary, the ḥadīth through this route is undoubtedly authentic, and it is a practical application by him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) of his well-known saying also narrated by her: "When he sits between her four parts and the circumcised part touches the circumcised part, ghusl becomes obligatory." Muslim and others recorded it, and it is included in "al-Irwāʾ" (79 and 127).
- "كان إذا التقى الختانان اغتسل". أخرجه أحمد (٦ / ١٢٣ و ٢٢٧) والطحاوي في "شرح المعاني" (١ / ٣٣) عن حماد بن سلمة قال: حدثنا ثابت البناني عن عبد الله بن رباح عن عبد العزيز بن النعمان عن عائشة قالت: فذكره مرفوعا. قلت: وهذا إسناد رجاله ثقات رجال مسلم غير عبد العزيز بن النعمان لم يوثقه غير ابن حبان. ولحماد بن سلمة إسناد آخر، رواه عن علي بن زيد عن سعيد بن المسيب عنها به. أخرجه الطحاوي أيضا. وعلي بن زيد - وهو ابن جدعان - ضعيف. لكن له طريق أخرى فقال بشر بن بكر حدثنا الأوزاعي قال: حدثني عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه عن عائشة ﵂: "أنها سئلت عن الرجل يجامع فلا ينزل؟ فقالت: فعلته أنا ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فاغتسلنا منه جميعا". أخرجه الطحاوي. قلت: وإسناده صحيح على شرط الشيخين. وأخرجه مسلم (١ / ١٨٧) من طريق أخرى عنها نحوه، وفيه جملة مستنكرة أخرجته من أجلها في "الضعيفة". وجملة القول أن الحديث بهذه الطريق صحيح بلا ريب، وهو تطبيق عملي منه ﷺ لقوله المشهور من روايتها أيضا: "إذا جلس بين شعبها الأربع ومس الختان الختان، فقد وجب الغسل". أخرجه مسلم وغيره وهو مخرج في "الإرواء" (٧٩ و ١٢٧).
