and the ḥadīth is explicit that whoever hears of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and what he was sent with, and it reaches them in the manner that Allāh revealed it to him, yet they do not believe in him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), their fate is the Fire, with no distinction between a Jew, a Christian, a Magian, or an irreligious person. My belief is that many disbelievers, if they were given the opportunity to learn about the principles, beliefs, and acts of worship that Islam brought, would hasten to enter it in groups, as happened in the beginning. I wish that some Islamic countries would send to the West those who invite to Islam, who are knowledgeable about its true essence and aware of the myths, innovations, and fabrications attached to it, so they can present it well to those invited. This requires them to be knowledgeable of the Book and the authentic sunnah, and familiar with some prevalent foreign languages. This is something rare and almost nonexistent, so the matter requires significant preparations. Perhaps they will do so.

- "If it were not that you would stop burying your dead, I would have asked Allāh to let you hear the punishment of the grave (as I hear it)." Imām Aḥmad said (3/201): Yazīd narrated to us, Ḥumayd informed us from Anas "that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) passed by a palm grove of the Banū al-Najjār, and he heard a sound, so he said: What is this? They said: The grave of a man buried in the pre-Islamic period. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) then mentioned it."
