and it was also narrated by al-Ḥākim from this perspective with an addition in its text, which I included because of it in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (2233), and it contains other defects that I have elaborated on there.

- "Record knowledge by writing." It was narrated from the ḥadīth of Anas ibn Mālik, ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, and ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-ʿAbbās. 1 - As for the ḥadīth of Anas, it has from him: the first: from Thumāmah ibn Anas from him, raised [to the Prophet] with it. It was narrated by Lawīn in "Aḥādīth" (Q 24/2): ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Sulaymān narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Muthanná from his uncle Thumāmah ibn Anas. And through the route of Lawīn, it was also narrated by Ibn Shāhīn in "al-Nāsikh wa-l-Mansūkh" (Q 65/2), al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (10/46) and in "Taqyīd al-ʿIlm" (pp. 69-70), Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr in "Jāmiʿ al-ʿIlm" (1/72), and Yūsuf ibn ʿAbd al-Hādī in "Hidāyat al-Insān" (31/2), all of them from Lawīn with it, and Lawīn said: "No one raised it except this man." I say: he means ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Sulaymān, and he is weak as in "al-Taqrīb." And through his route, it was also narrated by Abū al-Shaykh in "Ṭabaqāt al-Aṣbahāniyyīn" (p. 293), Abū al-Ḥasan al-Ḥarbī in "al-Fawāʾid" (Q 168/1), and Abū Bakr al-Daqqāq in "al-Thānī min Ḥadīthih" (43/2), and Ibn ʿAbd al-Hādī said: "ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Sulaymān, the brother of Fulaḥ, was the only one who raised it, and he was weakened, and what is preserved is from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Muthanná from Thumāmah from Anas as his saying."
