and it is with al-Tirmidhī, paired with the ḥadīth of Ḥabīb ibn Abī Thābit from Zayd ibn Arqam, elevated in a ḥadīth, and he said: "A good and rare ḥadīth." I said: ʿAṭiyyah is weak, and Ḥabīb is a mudallis. Thus, the ḥadīth is good by the combination of the two paths, and it is authentic as it has a witness from the ḥadīth of Zayd ibn Thābit, and it is referenced in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (977, 978) and "al-Mishkāt" (6153). In the ḥadīth of Zayd ibn Arqam: "Indeed, I am leaving among you two weighty things, one of which is the Book of Allāh ﷿; it is the rope of Allāh. Whoever follows it is upon guidance, and whoever abandons it is in error." It was recorded by Muslim (7/123), and Ibn Ḥibbān (123 - Shākir).
