and he said: "We do not know it to be narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās except through this route." I said: Its narrators are reliable except for the poor memory of Faḍīl, yet the ḥadīth was authenticated by the ḥāfiẓ or his teacher al-Haythamī in "Zawāʾid al-Bazzār," and he said in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (10/78): "It was narrated by al-Bazzār, and its narrators are those of 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ' except for Bishr ibn Maʿādh al-ʿAqdī, who is trustworthy." Al-Suyūṭī attributed the ḥadīth to al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" and authenticated it in his book "al-Ḥāwī lil-Fatāwá" (2/131), and before him al-Mundhirī (2/227). There is a corroborating narration from Abū Hurayrah, raised to the Prophet, with it, except that it says: "If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself..." and the rest is similar. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tawḥīd," Muslim in "al-Dhikr" (8/67), and Aḥmad (2/251, 354, 405, 413, 480, 482) through various routes from him. Another corroborating narration from Anas, raised to the Prophet, similar to the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah. It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/138) and its chain is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs.

- "Allāh said: My servant! I am as you expect Me to be, and I am with you when you remember Me." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/497) from al-Rabīʿ ibn Ṣabīḥ from al-Ḥasan from Anas, raised to the Prophet. And he said: "It is authentic but rare." And I say: It is authentic due to other supporting evidence, but not the chain itself, because al-Ḥasan—who is al-Baṣrī—was known for concealing his sources
