I said: And this isnād is weak; Ibn Abī Maryam had become confused. And Baqiyyah is a mudallis, but he was followed up by ʿAbd al-Quddūs ibn al-Ḥajjāj Abū al-Mughīrah from Abū Bakr ibn Abī Maryam with it. It was extracted by al-Bazzār (p. 84 - his additions), and he said: "We do not know from al-ʿIrbāḍ with a better isnād than this." And there is a subtle indication that there is another isnād for it, and I found it with Ibn Ḥibbān (706 - Mawārid al-Ẓamʾān) from the route of Luqmān ibn ʿĀmir from Yazīd ibn Jablah from al-ʿIrbāḍ with it. And I did not know Yazīd ibn Jablah. Then it became clear to me that it was a distortion from Suwayd ibn Jablah, and it was correctly recorded in "al-Iḥsān bi-Tartīb Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān" (2920), as one of the brothers guided me, and Ibn Ḥibbān authenticated him (4/325), and two trustworthy narrators narrated from him. And the rest of its men are trustworthy, so the ḥadīth, with the combination of the two routes, is ḥasan, especially since it has many supporting witnesses similar to it, which you will see in "al-Targhīb" and "al-Majmaʿ" and others.
