(dubā): dubā - shortened - refers to locusts before they can fly. It is also said to be a type resembling locusts, and its singular form is (dubāt). "Nihāyah."

"O Ḥassān! Respond on behalf of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). O Allāh, support him with the Holy Spirit." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (1/116 and 7/109) and Muslim (7/163) from al-Zuhrī, who said: Abū Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf informed me that he heard Ḥassān ibn Thābit al-Anṣārī seeking testimony from Abū Hurayrah: "I adjure you by Allāh, did you hear the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say it?" Abū Hurayrah said: "Yes." Al-Zuhrī has another isnād for it, which was previously mentioned in: "Respond on my behalf" number (930). There is also a corroborating report with a similar meaning from the ḥadīth of al-Barāʾ, which will appear by Allāh's permission under number (1970), and it has already been mentioned under number (801).

"A group from my nation will continue to be manifest until the command of Allāh comes to them while they are manifest." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (4/187 and 8/149 and 189) and Muslim (6/53) and Aḥmad (4/244 and 248 and 252) from the ḥadīth of al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah, elevated [to the Prophet]. There are many corroborating reports from a group of Companions, some of which have been mentioned under ḥadīth (270) and others will be mentioned soon, by Allāh's permission.
