"O ʿĀʾishah, your people will be the quickest of my nation to join me." She said: "When he sat down, I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh make me your ransom, you entered while saying something that alarmed me.' He said: 'What is it?' She said: 'You claim that my people will be the quickest of your nation to join you.' He said: 'Yes.' She said: 'And why is that?' He said: 'Death will take them quickly, and their nation will envy them.' She said: 'I asked: What about the people after that or at that time?' He said: 'They will be like locusts devouring each other until the Hour is established upon them.'" It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/81 and 90): Hāshim narrated to us, saying: Isḥāq ibn Saʿīd—meaning—ibn ʿAmr ibn Saʿīd ibn al-ʿĀṣ narrated from his father from her. This is a sound chain according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and in "al-Majmaʿ" (10/28): "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Bazzār with part of it, and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ' with part of it as well, and the chain of this narration in Aḥmad is composed of the narrators of the authentic collections, although the first narration has some discussion." This refers to the other path coming. The ḥadīth is also supported by a narration from Abū Hurayrah with the wording: "The quickest of the Arab tribes," which has been mentioned previously under number (738). There is another path from her as well with the wording: "O ʿĀʾishah, the first of the people to perish will be your people." She said: "I asked: 'May Allāh make me your ransom, the children of Taym?' He said: 'No, but this clan of Quraysh, death will take them quickly, and they will be envied, the first of the people to perish.' I asked: 'What will be the state of the people after them?' He said: 'They are the backbone of the people, and when they perish, the people will perish.'" It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/74): Mūsá ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Muʾammil narrated from Ibn Abī Mulaykah from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā). ʿAbd Allāh is weak, but the rest of the narrators are trustworthy, narrators of Muslim
" يا عائشة قومك أسرع أمتي بي لحاقا. قالت: فلما جلس قلت: يا رسول الله جعلني الله فداءك لقد دخلت وأنت تقول كلاما ذعرني. قال: وما هو؟ قالت: تزعم أن قومي أسرع أمتك بك لحاقا. قال: نعم. قالت: ومم ذاك؟ قال: تستحليهم المنايا، وتنفس عليهم أمتهم. قالت: فقلت: فكيف الناس بعد ذلك أو عند ذلك؟ قال: دبى تأكل شداده ضعافه حتى تقوم عليهم الساعة ". أخرجه أحمد (٦ / ٨١ و ٩٠) : حدثنا هاشم قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن سعيد - يعني - ابن عمرو بن سعيد بن العاص عن أبيه عنها. وهذا سند صحيح على شرط الشيخين، وفي " المجمع " (١٠ / ٢٨) : " رواه أحمد والبزار ببعضه والطبراني في " الأوسط " ببعضه أيضا، وإسناد هذه الرواية عند أحمد رجال الصحيح، وفي الرواية الأولى مقال ". يشير إلى الطريق الأخرى الآتية. وللحديث شاهد عن أبي هريرة بلفظ: " أسرع قبائل العرب " وقد مضى برقم (٧٣٨) . وله طريق آخر عنها - أيضا - بلفظ: " يا عائشة إن أول من يهلك من الناس قومك، قالت: قلت: جعلني الله فداك أبني تيم؟ قال: لا، ولكن هذا الحي من قريش، تستحليهم المنايا وتنفس عنهم، أول الناس هلاكا، قلت: فما بقاء الناس بعدهم؟ قال: هم صلب الناس، فإذا هلكوا هلك الناس ". أخرجه أحمد (٦ / ٧٤) : حدثنا موسى بن داود قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن المؤمل عن ابن أبي مليكة عن عائشة ﵂. وعبد الله هذا ضعيف وبقية رجاله ثقات رجال مسلم.
