It was recorded by al-Bazzār (p. 274, Zawāʾid Ibn Ḥajar). Its narrators are trustworthy except for Abū Khālid, whom I suspect to be al-Dalānī, and he is weak. The ḥadīth is found in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" and others from the narration of Abū Saʿīd and others with the wording: "Do not insult my Companions..." the ḥadīth. It includes mention of what occurred between Khālid and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, and it is recorded in "Ẓilāl al-Jannah" (988 - 991).

- "A group from my nation will be swallowed up by the earth; they will be sent to a man, and he will come to Mecca, and Allāh will protect him from them, and they will be swallowed up by the earth. Their deaths will be in one place, but their sources are various. Among them are those who dislike it, and they will come unwillingly." It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/259, 316-317, and 317) and Abū Yaʿlá (4/1668) from ʿAlī ibn Zayd from al-Ḥasan from his mother from Umm Salamah who said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) awoke from his sleep while saying 'To Allāh we belong and to Him we return.' She said: 'I asked: O Messenger of Allāh, what is the matter with you?' He said: " and mentioned it. I said: ʿAlī ibn Zayd is Ibn Judʿān and he is weak, but the ḥadīth is authentic, as it has a corroborating narration from ʿĀʾishah. Aḥmad narrated it subsequently through two chains from Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Abū ʿImrān al-Jawnī from Yūsuf ibn Saʿd from her from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) similarly. Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim, except for Yūsuf ibn Saʿd, who is trustworthy, so the chain is authentic. ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr corroborated it, saying that ʿĀʾishah said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was restless in his sleep, so we said: O Messenger of Allāh! You did something in your sleep that you do not usually do. He said: "Amazing, indeed some people from my nation intend the House with a man from Quraysh who has sought refuge in the House, and when they reach al-Baydāʾ, they will be swallowed up by the earth..." a ḥadīth similar to it, and added:
