it has another supporting narration, reported by Ibn ʿAdī (149/1) from ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk: al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us from Zuhayr from Ibn al-Munkadir from Jābir in a marfūʿ form. I said: And this ʿAbd al-Wahhāb is a liar, as Abū Ḥātim said. In summary, the ḥadīth with the supporting narration from Anas is ḥasan. And Allāh knows best. It has another supporting narration from the narration of Darrāj from al-Haytham from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "Winter is the spring of the believer; its night is long, so he stands [in prayer], and its day is short, so he fasts." This isnād is weak; it was recorded by Aḥmad and others, and it is documented in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" under the previously mentioned ḥadīth of Anas.

- "Leave my Companions for me, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, if you were to spend the likes of Uḥud or the mountains in gold, you would not reach their deeds." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/266): Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl narrated from Anas who said: "There was a dispute between Khālid ibn al-Walīd and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf, so Khālid said to ʿAbd al-Raḥmān: Do you boast over us because of days you preceded us in? It reached us that this was mentioned to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he said: " and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī, and Zuhayr is Ibn Muʿāwiyah. The ḥadīth has a supporting narration reported by Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm from Abū Khālid from al-Shaʿbī from Ibn Abī Awfá who said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAwf complained about Khālid ibn al-Walīd to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and he said: "Why do you harm a man from the people of Badr?
