sixth: from ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: "Show despair towards people and minimize asking them for your needs. Avoid what requires an apology. It was recorded by al-Dūlābī in "al-Kuná" (2/75) as a suspended narration, where he said: Mūsá ibn Ismāʿīl al-Tabūdhakī mentioned, saying: Jarīr ibn ʿAbd Allāh Abū ʿUbaydah said: I heard Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah say: ʿUmar said... I said: I do not know this Jarīr. In general, the ḥadīth is strong with these supporting narrations.

"Pray the Maghrib prayer with the setting of the sun, hasten with it before the stars appear." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (no. 4058 and 4059) through two chains from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb who said: Aslam Abū ʿImrān told me that he heard Abū Ayyūb from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a marfūʿ form. I said: This isnād is authentic, its narrators are trustworthy. It was also recorded by Aḥmad (5/415) and al-Dāraqutnī (1/260 - Egypt) through the chain of Ibn Lahīʿah from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb with a similar narration, and (5/421) through the chain of Ibn Abī Dhīʾb from him with it, except that he said: from a man he did not name. Al-Haythamī said (2/310): "Aḥmad narrated it from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb from a man from Abū Ayyūb, and the rest of its narrators are trustworthy, and al-Ṭabarānī from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb from Aslam Abū ʿImrān from Abū Ayyūb, and its narrators are reliable." It seems he did not come across the narration of Aslam with Aḥmad, otherwise he would not have overlooked it
