It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (5459) through the route of Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Bakr ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḥazm and Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd ibn Qays al-Anṣārī narrated to me that they narrated it from Saʿd ibn ʿAmārah as a mawqūf report, and it is considered marfūʿ as is apparent. I said: This isnād is ḥasan, and all its men are trustworthy, despite the known disagreement regarding Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq, and he explicitly stated the narration. Al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (10/236): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its men are trustworthy." Al-Ḥāfiẓ followed him in "al-Iṣābah." Third: from ʿAbd Allāh (who is Ibn Masʿūd) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked: What is wealth? He said: "Despairing of what is in people's hands." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (5907) from Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād al-ʿAjlī who said: Abū Bakr ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us from Zar about it. And he said: "Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād is unique in narrating it." I said: He is abandoned as al-Haythamī said (10/286), and the rest of its men are trustworthy. Fourth: from Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī as a marfūʿ report with the wording: "When you stand in your prayer, pray as if bidding farewell..." the ḥadīth. Its extraction has already been mentioned under number (401) and it was also narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (3987 and 3988).
