It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/185), Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (Q 107/1 No. 1014 - my verification), Abū al-ʿAbbās Jumaḥ ibn al-Qāsim in "A Part of His Ḥadīth" (57/2), ʿAlī ibn Ṭāhir al-Sulamī in "Kitāb al-Jihād" (2/1/2), Abū al-Ḥasan al-Bazzār ibn Mukhlid in "al-Amālī," and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (8/241/1) through the route of Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh from Ḍamḍam ibn Zurʿah from Shurayḥ ibn ʿUbayd from Kathīr ibn Murrah from ʿUtbah ibn ʿAbd in a marfūʿ manner. This is a good Shāmī isnād, and there is some discussion about some of them that does not harm [its authenticity]. Al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (4/192): "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī, and its men are trustworthy." His teacher, the ḥāfiẓ al-ʿIrāqī, said in "Maḥajjat al-Qurb ilá Maḥabbat al-ʿArab" (Q 19/2) after narrating it through Aḥmad's route: "A ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth, and the men of its isnād are trustworthy, and Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh's narrations from the Shāmīs are authentic, unlike his narrations from the Ḥijāzīs." It has a supporting narration that is mawqūf from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah. It was recorded by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (1024) with a ṣaḥīḥ isnād from him for its first section.

"All of creation prays for the teacher of goodness, even the fish in the sea." It was narrated by Ibn ʿAdī (64/1), and from him by al-Jurjānī (p. 22) and al-Daylamī (2/136) from Shadhāb ibn Fayāḍ, who reported from al-Ḥārith ibn Shibl, from Umm al-Nuʿmān, from ʿĀʾishah in a marfūʿ manner. He mentioned it in the biography of this al-Ḥārith along with other ḥadīths, then said: "These ḥadīths are not preserved." I say: Shadhāb ibn Fayāḍ and al-Ḥārith ibn Shibl are weak
