and its last part has a sound corroborating narration from ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ, raised [to the Prophet] in a similar manner, and it is the one mentioned after it. al-Aʿṣam: it is red-beaked and red-legged, as in the following ḥadīth. It is an allusion to the few women who enter Paradise because this description among crows is rare.

- "No women will enter Paradise except those who are like this crow among the crows." It was narrated by Aḥmad (4/197 and 205) and Abū Yaʿlá (349/1) with the addition from Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Abū Jaʿfar al-Khaṭmī from ʿUmārah ibn Khuzaymah who said: While we were with ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ during Ḥajj or ʿUmrah (we saw a woman with her adornments and rings, and she had spread her hand on the howdah), he said: While we were with the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in this valley, he said: Look! Do you see anything? We said we see crows among which is a red-beaked and red-legged crow, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said... and he mentioned it. It was also narrated by Ibn Qutaybah in "Iṣlāḥ al-Ghalat" (53/1-2) from this perspective, and by al-Ḥākim (4/602) and Ibn ʿAsākir (13/245/1-2). I say: This is a sound chain of narration, and al-Ḥākim said: "Sound according to the criteria of Muslim." This is an error agreed upon by al-Dhahabī, for this Abū Jaʿfar's name is ʿUmayr ibn Yazīd, and Muslim did not narrate anything from him.

- "The caliphate is in Quraysh, the judgment is in the Anṣār, the call is in the Abyssinians, and the migration is among the Muslims and the Emigrants thereafter."
