but the ḥadīth has a strong corroborating narration from Abū Umāmah, elevated [to the Prophet], and authenticated by al-Tirmidhī. See "Takhrīj al-Targhīb" (1/60). The ḥadīth was also narrated by al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (133 - Kashf al-Astār) through the chain of Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik from al-Zuhrī from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah, elevated [to the Prophet], with the wording: "The teacher of goodness is sought forgiveness for by everything, even the fish in the sea." However, regarding this Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Malik, al-Haythamī said (1/124): "A liar."

"Wine is the mother of all immoralities and the greatest of major sins. Whoever drinks it will commit incest with his mother, maternal aunt, and paternal aunt." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (numbers 11372 and 11498) from Rushdīn ibn Saʿd from Abū Ṣakhr from ʿAbd al-Karīm Abū Umayyah from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Abī Rabāḥ from Ibn ʿAbbās, elevated [to the Prophet]. It was also narrated in "al-Awsaṭ" (3285) from Ibn Lahīʿah from ʿAbd al-Karīm ibn Abī Umayyah with the same chain. I say: This isnād is weak. ʿAbd al-Karīm Abū Umayyah, Rushdīn ibn Saʿd, and Ibn Lahīʿah are all weak narrators, and al-Haythamī criticized it due to the first of them only, saying (5/67): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ' and 'al-Kabīr' and in it is ʿAbd al-Karīm Abū Umayyah, who is weak." Then al-Haythamī mentioned a corroborating narration for it (5/68) from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, elevated [to the Prophet], with an addition: "abandoning prayer and committing..." and he said:
