"it was narrated by Aḥmad with an isnād that is acceptable," yet it is not hidden what leniency is in it. Ismāʿīl ibn ʿUbayd Allāh, who is Ibn Abī al-Muhājir, contradicted him and said: from Abū Ṣāliḥ al-Ashʿarī from Abū Hurayrah that he visited a sick person, and he said to him: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Indeed, Allāh says: It is My fire, I impose it on My believing servant in the world so that it may be his portion of the fire in the Hereafter." Its isnād is authentic, and its extraction has already been mentioned (557). Supporting the ḥadīth is what ʿIṣmah ibn Sālim al-Hanāʾī narrated, informing us from Ashʿath ibn Jābir from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab from Abū Rayḥānah in a marfūʿ form with the wording: "...and it is the believer's share of the fire." The rest is similar. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh" (4/1/63), al-Ṭaḥāwī, Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "al-Maraḍ" (159/2), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "al-Tārīkh" (8/64/2). I said: And this isnād is good in terms of supporting evidence, its narrators are trustworthy, except for some weakness in Shahr ibn Ḥawshab due to his memory, and it was also extracted by al-Ṭabarānī as in "al-Targhīb" and "al-Majmaʿ" (4/306). In summary, the ḥadīth is authentic through these paths, and the first sentence of it has other supporting evidence in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" and others.

- "O Protector of Islam and its people, keep me firm with it until I meet You." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (no. 653) and from him by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (p. 150/1) with his isnād to Muḥammad ibn Salamah al-Ḥarrānī and Khaṭṭāb ibn al-Qāsim from Abū al-Wāṣil ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Wāṣil from Anas ibn Mālik that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to say: and he mentioned it, and he said: "al-Ṭabarānī said: It is not narrated from Anas except through this isnād, and Abū al-Wāṣil is unique in narrating it."
