and it was narrated by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Talkhīṣ" (86/1) from this perspective. Ṣāliḥ is considered unreliable in ḥadīth as stated by al-Bukhārī. Then I saw that Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd al-Anṣārī (mentioned earlier in the ḥadīth of Jābir) narrated the ḥadīth from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather, raised [to the Prophet] with a more complete version, and its wording is: "The pilgrims and those performing ʿUmrah are the delegation of Allāh. If they ask Him, He grants them; if they supplicate, they are answered; and if they spend, it is replaced for them. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Abū al-Qāsim, no one raises the takbīr on a high place nor pronounces the talbiyah on an elevated place except that everything before him pronounces the talbiyah and raises the takbīr until it is cut off by the one who is cut off from the dust." It was narrated by Abū al-Shaykh al-Aṣbahānī in "Aḥādīth Bakr ibn Bakkār" (3/2) from him: Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd al-Anṣārī narrated to us, ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb narrated to us from his father from his grandfather, raised [to the Prophet]. And it was narrated by Tamām in "al-Fawāʾid" (252/2) and al-Qāḍī al-Sharīf Abū al-Ḥusayn in "al-Mashīkhah" (2/180/1) through the route of Ibn Wahb from Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb with it. And al-Khulāʿī narrated in "al-Fawāʾid" (108/2) the first part of it, and Ibn ʿAdī narrated (301/1) both parts and said: "Muḥammad ibn Abī Ḥumayd al-Zuhrī is almost unknown." Thus he said, and he is known for weakness as previously mentioned, and Ibn Abī Ḥātim said in "al-ʿIlal" (2/298): "My father said: A rejected ḥadīth." He meant by this the complete version.
