and al-ʿUqaylī said afterwards: "This is narrated by Salām al-Ṭawīl from Thābit from Anas, and there is some weakness in Salām." I said: This is what he said, and the ḥadīth is known from the narration of Salām ibn Sulaymān Abū al-Mundhir al-Muzanī, who is trustworthy. It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī (2/156) and others in a more complete form. It is also referenced in "al-Mishkāt" (5261) and "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (53). Then I found a supporting narrator for it, which is acceptable. Abū Muḥammad al-Mukhlidī included it in "al-Fawāʾid" (p. 290/1) with a sound chain from ʿAmr ibn Hāshim: Hāqal ibn Ziyād narrated it to me. And this ʿAmr is al-Bayrūtī, who is trustworthy but makes mistakes, as al-ʿAsqalānī said. Thus, the claim that Yaḥyā ibn ʿUthmān uniquely narrated it from Hāqal is negated, and the authenticity of the ḥadīth is confirmed, and all praise is due to Allāh.

- "When he exerted himself in supplication for someone, he would say: May Allāh grant you the prayer of a righteous people who stand at night and fast by day, who are neither sinful nor wicked." It was narrated by ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd in "al-Muntaqá min al-Musnad" (147/2): Muslim ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, Thābit narrated from Anas in a marfūʿ form. I said: And this is a sound chain according to the criteria of Muslim, and it was also included by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (p. 34/1) through the route of ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd, and he said: "Some of the muḥaddithīn mentioned that Muslim narrated it from ʿAbd ibn Ḥumayd with this isnād, but I did not see it in 'Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim,' and Allāh knows best."
