by al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī and "al-Muntakhab minhu" by Abū al-Fatḥ al-Juwaynī (74/2) and Ibn ʿAsākir (11/423/1 and 13/193/2 and 17/97/1) through the route of ʿUmar ibn Yazīd al-Naṣrī from Abū Salām from Abū Umāmah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This isnād is good; its narrators are trustworthy except for ʿUmar ibn Yazīd al-Naṣrī, about whom there is disagreement, as I explained in "al-Aḥādīth al-Ḍaʿīfah" (3398). What appears to me from the totality of what has been said about him is that his ḥadīth is good, as he was deemed trustworthy by Daḥīm and Abū Zurʿah al-Dimashqī. Al-Haythamī said (7/206): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī with two isnāds; in one of them is Bishr ibn Namīr, who is abandoned, and in the other ʿUmar ibn Yazīd, who is weak." I said: His generalization of weakness regarding ʿUmar ibn Yazīd, despite the trustworthiness mentioned, is clearly questionable. Then I saw al-Mundhirī in "al-Targhīb" (3/221) saying: "It was narrated by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in 'Kitāb al-Sunnah' with a good isnād." The other isnād with al-Ṭabarānī (7938) from Bishr ibn Namīr from al-Qāsim from Abū Umāmah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording: "Four people Allāh will not look at on the Day of Resurrection..." He mentioned three and added: "and the habitual wine drinker."
