in detail, with some differences in certain letters, and it includes that Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to him (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "Your Lord commands you to go to the people of al-Baqīʿ and seek forgiveness for them." It was recorded by Muslim (3/63-64), al-Nasāʾī (1/286-287), and Aḥmad (6/221). His statement: "and seek forgiveness for them" clarifies that his statement in the narration of ʿAlqamah: "to pray for them" does not mean the funeral prayer, but rather supplication and seeking forgiveness for them.
"The people of Yemen are more tender-hearted, more gentle in disposition, and more obedient." It was recorded by Imām Aḥmad in "al-Musnad" (4/154) through the route of Musharrah ibn Hāʿān that he heard ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir say: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. I say: This is a good isnād, and all its men are trustworthy, the men of the two Shaykhs, except for this Musharrah, who was deemed reliable by Ibn Maʿīn, as well as Ibn Ḥibbān. Then he contradicted himself and listed him among "the weak"! Al-Haythamī said about the ḥadīth in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (10/55): "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī - and he said: and more obedient - and its isnād is good." (Anjaʿ) means more beneficial.
"A house without dates is like a house without food." It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (3327) through the route of Hishām ibn Saʿd from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Abī Rāfiʿ from his grandmother Salmā that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. I say: This is a good isnād, and its men are trustworthy, the men of Muslim, with a weakness in Hishām except for ʿUbayd Allāh, who is Ibn ʿAlī ibn Abī Rāfiʿ, attributed to his grandfather. Ibn Maʿīn said: "There is no harm in him." And Abū Ḥātim said:
