"there is no harm in his ḥadīth." Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt." The ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah supports it, raised: "A house without dates, its people are hungry." It was recorded by Muslim (6/123) and others.

"Maintain your kinship ties even with a greeting." It was recorded by Wakīʿ in "al-Zuhd" (2/74/2): Majmaʿ ibn Yaḥyá al-Anṣārī narrated to us from Suwayd ibn ʿĀmir al-Anṣārī, raised. It was also recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Thiqāt" (1/75), al-Quḍāʿī in "Musnad al-Shihāb" (Q 55/1), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (16/132/2) through other routes from Majmaʿ. I said: This isnād is authentic, but it is mursal. Ibn Ḥibbān included it in the biography of this Suwayd and said: "Suwayd ibn ʿĀmir ibn Yazīd (original: Zayd) ibn Jāriyah al-Anṣārī from the people of Medina, narrates mursal ḥadīths, and he heard from al-Shamūs bint al-Nuʿmān, who was a Companion." It was also recorded by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿUmar al-Dimashqī in "al-Fawāʾid" (1/223/1) and al-Quḍāʿī as well, from the route of ʿĪsá ibn Yūnus from Majmaʿ ibn Yaḥyá, who said: A man from the Anṣār narrated to me. It was recorded by Abū ʿUbayd in "Gharīb al-Ḥadīth" (Q 62/1) from the route of al-Fazārī Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah from Majmaʿ ibn Yaḥyá al-Anṣārī from someone who narrated it to him, raising it. I said: In summary, the isnād is authentic but mursal, except that some did not name the one who narrated it mursal. Others named him, and thus it becomes clear that he is trustworthy
