ʿAlī ibn Yazīd from ʿAdī ibn Thābit. Its narrators are reliable, the narrators of Muslim, except for ʿAlī ibn Yazīd, who is Ibn Judʿān, and he is weak. There is a second route from al-Barāʾ mentioned previously in the second and third routes from ʿAlī. 7 - Ibn ʿAbbās. It is narrated from him by ʿAmr ibn Maymūn as a marfūʿ ḥadīth without the addition. It was recorded by Aḥmad (1/330-331) and from him by al-Ḥākim (3/132-134) who said: "Its isnād is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. And it is as they said. 8, 9, and 10 - Anas ibn Mālik, Abū Saʿīd, and Abū Hurayrah. It is narrated from them by ʿUmayrah ibn Saʿd who said: "I witnessed ʿAlī (may Allāh be pleased with him) on the minbar imploring the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): Whoever heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) on the day of Ghadīr Khumm say what he said, let him testify." So twelve men stood up, among them Abū Hurayrah, Abū Saʿīd, and Anas ibn Mālik, and they testified that they heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: "He mentioned it." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 33 - Hindiyyah no. 116 - al-Rawḍ) and in "al-Awsaṭ" (no. 2442) from Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAmr who narrated from Masʿar from Ṭalḥah ibn Muṣarrif from ʿUmayrah ibn Saʿd with it and said: "No one narrated it from Masʿar except Ismāʿīl." I said: And he is weak, and for this reason, al-Haythamī (9/108) said after attributing it to the two collections: "And in its isnād there is some weakness." I said: But it is strengthened by the fact that there are other routes from Abū Hurayrah, Abū Saʿīd, and others among the Companions
