Allāh said: "A good deed is rewarded tenfold or more, and a bad deed is counted as one or I forgive it. Even if you meet Me with sins as vast as the earth, as long as you do not associate partners with Me, I will meet you with forgiveness as vast as it." Narrated by al-Ḥākim (4/241) and Aḥmad (5/108) from ʿĀṣim from al-Maʿrūr ibn Suwayd that Abū Dharr (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) said: "The truthful and trustworthy (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) told us, narrating from his Lord (﵎), that He said: 'A good deed...'" He said: "The isnād is authentic," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: ʿĀṣim is Ibn Bahdalah, and he is considered reliable in ḥadīth, and the rest of the narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim], so the isnād is good.

"Successful is the one who submits to Islam, is provided with sufficient sustenance, and Allāh makes him content with what He has given him." Narrated by Muslim (3/102), al-Tirmidhī (2/56), Aḥmad (2/168), and al-Bayhaqī (4/196) through the route of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yazīd al-Muqriʾ, who reported from Saʿīd ibn Abī Ayyūb, who reported from Shurahbīl ibn Sharīk, from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥublī, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ as a marfūʿ narration. Al-Tirmidhī said: "This ḥadīth is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ."
