and he was followed by ʿAmr ibn Muḥammad al-ʿAnqazī: Ibn Idrīs narrated it to us with it. It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī (1/289) and its chain is also authentic. This is a strong corroboration from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿUmar for the narration of Abū Ḥudhayfah from al-Thawrī from Saʿd ibn Ibrāhīm. And Allāh knows best. There is another route, through the narration of ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from Mujāhid from Ibn ʿUmar, elevated with the wording: "Saʿd was embraced in the grave with a squeeze, so I prayed to Allāh to relieve him." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (3/206) and he authenticated it, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him! And ʿAṭāʾ had become confused, and he added the supplication in it. Ibn Lahīʿah disagreed with him in its chain and said: from ʿUqayl that he heard Saʿd ibn Ibrāhīm reporting from ʿĀʾishah bint Saʿd that she narrated to him from ʿĀʾishah, the Mother of the Believers, elevated with it similarly. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/82/1) and he said: "Ibn Lahīʿah was unique in narrating it." I say: and he has poor memory. It has a supporting narration from Ibn ʿAbbās, elevated with it similarly. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī (1/81/2) and in "al-Kabīr" (10827 and 12975) from the route of Ziyād, the client of Ibn ʿAbbās, from him. Al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (3/46-47): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' and 'al-Awsaṭ' and its men are trustworthy." I say: it is with al-Ṭabarānī from two routes:
