"Indeed, Allāh creates every maker and his craft." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "The Creation of the Actions of Servants" (p. 73), Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (357 and 358), Ibn Mandah in "al-Tawḥīd" (fol. 39/2), Ibn ʿAdī (263/2), al-Ḥākim (1/31), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Asmāʾ wa-al-Ṣifāt" (p. 26 and 388), as well as al-Muḥāmilī in "al-Amālī" (vol. 6, no. 13) and al-Daylamī (1/2/228) through various chains from Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī from Rabiʿī ibn Ḥirāsh from Ḥudhayfah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the criteria of Muslim." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. I say: Its wording with Ibn Mandah, al-Ḥākim, and al-Daylamī is "Creator" instead of "creates." Al-Bukhārī added at the end of the ḥadīth: "And some of them recited at that point: * (And Allāh created you and what you do) *." It appears to be interpolated, and al-Bukhārī said afterward: "He informed that the crafts and their practitioners are created." Then he narrated it through the chain of al-Aʿmash from Shaqīq from Ḥudhayfah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu): "Indeed, Allāh created every maker and his craft, indeed, Allāh created the maker of the cord and his craft." (The cord) with the vowelization is a tree from whose bark ropes are made.

- "Do not be helpers of Satan against your brother. It is not appropriate for the leader, when a prescribed punishment reaches him, except to carry it out. Indeed, Allāh is forgiving and loves forgiveness, * (and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allāh should forgive you? And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful) *."
