and it is also supported by the ḥadīth of Jābir who said: "On the day of the trench, I looked at the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and found that he had placed a stone between himself and his waistcloth to support his back from hunger." It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá, and its narrators were deemed reliable except for a weakness in Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAbd al-Malik, as mentioned in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (10/314). Thus, the ḥadīth is ḥasan due to the combination of the three paths. And Allāh knows best. (al-gharth): hunger.

- "When a servant is sincere to his master and excels in worshiping Allāh, he will have his reward twice." It was recorded by Mālik (3/146) and through his path by al-Bukhārī (5/132) and in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (31) from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. It was also narrated through his path by Muslim (5/94) and Abū Dāwūd (2/338) with the wording: "Indeed, the servant..." and the rest is the same.

- "Indeed, the noble, son of the noble, son of the noble, son of the noble, Yūsuf son of Yaʿqūb son of Isḥāq son of Ibrāhīm, the friend of the Most Merciful, if I had remained in prison as long as Yūsuf did, and then the caller came to me, I would have responded. When the messenger came to him, he said: *'Return to your lord and ask him about the women who cut their hands'* (Yūsuf, 12:50). And may Allāh have mercy on Lūṭ, for he sought refuge in a strong support when he said to his people: *'If only I had strength against you or could take refuge in a strong support'* (Hūd, 11:80). After him, Allāh did not send any prophet except in a position of strength among his people." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (605) and al-Tirmidhī (4/128-129)
