and another witness from ʿAbd al-Salām ibn ʿAjlān who said: I heard Abū Yazīd al-Madanī say: I heard Abū Hurayrah say: and he mentioned it as a marfūʿ ḥadīth without the phrase "without boasting." And this isnād is good in terms of supporting evidence. Abū Yazīd al-Madanī was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Maʿīn, and al-Bukhārī included his narrations. As for ʿAbd al-Salām ibn ʿAjlān, Abū Ḥātim said: his ḥadīth is written. Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" and said: "He makes mistakes and contradicts." (Note) The ḥadīth of Ibn Judʿān from Anas appears in al-Tirmidhī during his ḥadīth from Abū Naḍrah from Abū Saʿīd as marfūʿ: "I am the master of the children of Adam..." the ḥadīth in its entirety, and in it: "They come to me, and I go with them." Ibn Judʿān said: Anas said: It is as if I am looking at the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saying: "I take hold of the ring of the gate of Paradise and shake it." Meaning, I move it.

"I am the master of the children of Adam." I said: It has been transmitted through various routes: 1 - Ibn Saʿd narrated it (1/20): Muḥammad ibn Muṣʿab al-Qurqusānī informed us, al-Awzāʿī informed us from Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr from Abū Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from Abū Hurayrah who said: and al-Ḥakam ibn Mūsá informed us, Haql ibn Ziyād informed us from al-Awzāʿī, Abū ʿAmmār informed me, ʿAbd Allāh ibn Farūkh informed me, Abū Hurayrah informed me, and he mentioned it as marfūʿ. I said: The second isnād is authentic according to the conditions of Muslim, and he has included it (7/59) more completely, and I have included it in "Sharḥ al-Ṭaḥāwiyyah" p.
