It was recorded by al-Dārimī (1/26) and al-Daylamī (1/2/308). This isnād is acceptable for supporting evidence, as Zamaʿah is weak, but Muslim paired him with another, and Salamah, who is Ibn Wuharam, is similar or in a better condition than him. Perhaps al-Tirmidhī deemed it good because of this supporting evidence. And Allāh knows best. (Note) The ḥadīth of the chapter was attributed by al-Suyūṭī to al-Tirmidhī and Aḥmad, but I did not see it in "al-Musnad" with this wording. Rather, he narrated it there (3/144 and 247-248) through two other paths, and al-Dārimī (1/27-28) from one of them from Anas in his long ḥadīth about intercession, and in it: "I come to the gate of Paradise, take hold of the ring of the gate, and request entry...." It was also recorded by Muslim (1/130) through another path from Anas in a shortened form with the wording: "I am the prophet with the most followers on the Day of Resurrection, and I am the first to knock on the gate of Paradise." Similarly, it was recorded by Abū ʿAwānah in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1/109). In a narration from both of them: "I am the first of the people to intercede in Paradise, and I am the prophet with the most followers." It was recorded by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Fawāʾid" number (12 - my copy). In another narration from both of them: "I am the first intercessor in Paradise. No prophet was believed as I was believed, and among the prophets is a prophet who is not believed by his nation except by one man." The wording of Abū ʿAwānah: "...among the prophets is one who comes to Allāh on the Day of Resurrection with no one believing in him except one man." Abū Nuʿaym recorded for him in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (Q 30/2) another path from the narration of Ziyād al-Namīrī from Anas, marfūʿ with the wording: "I am the first to take hold of the ring of the gate of Paradise, without boasting."
