It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/118 and 5/274-275) and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (1118 and 1119 - with my verification). Al-Qāsim is unknown, as I clarified in "Takhrīj al-Sunnah," so his statement: "Abū Masʿūd" instead of "Ibn Masʿūd" is an error on their part and should not be considered. (yulḥā): meaning it is peeled. This ḥadīth is a sign of his prophethood (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), for the caliphate remained with Quraysh for several centuries, then their rule ended due to their disobedience to their Lord and following their desires. Allāh then empowered the non-Arabs to take control from them, and the Muslims were humiliated after them, except as Allāh willed. Therefore, if Muslims are sincere in their efforts to restore the Islamic state, they must repent to their Lord, return to their religion, and follow the rulings of their sharīʿah. Among these is that the caliphate is with Quraysh under the known conditions in the books of ḥadīth and fiqh, and they should not follow their opinions and desires, nor what they found their fathers and grandfathers upon, otherwise they will remain ruled by others. And Allāh spoke the truth when He said: "Indeed, Allāh will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (Sūrah Name, verse number) And the end is for the righteous.

- "Indeed, the advance payment is like half of charity." It was recorded by Aḥmad (1/412) and Abū Yaʿlá (3/1298 - Maṣūrat al-Kutub) from the path of Ḥammād ibn Salamah who informed us from ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from Ibn Adhnān who said: "I advanced ʿAlqamah two thousand dirhams, and when his payment came, I said to him: Pay me back. He said: Delay me until next year. So I came to him and took it. He said: You have burdened me and have deprived me. I said: Yes, it is your deed. He said: What is my matter? I said: You narrated to me from Ibn Masʿūd that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: (he mentioned it). He said: Yes, it is so. He said: So take it now."
