- "Light fires and prepare food, for no people after you will achieve your measure or your mudd." It was reported by al-Ḥākim (3/36) through the route of Muḥammad ibn Abī Yaḥyá al-Aslamī, who narrated from his father that Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) informed him: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was at al-Ḥudaybiyyah and said: 'Do not light a fire at night.'" Later, he said: "and he mentioned it." He said: "The isnād is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. Abū Yaḥyá al-Aslamī's name is Simʿān, and he is trustworthy like his father.

- "Do you not know that you and your wealth are from your father's earnings?!" It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (no. 13345) from Wahb ibn Yaḥyá ibn Zamām al-ʿAllāf, who reported from Maymūn ibn Yazīd, from ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad, from his father, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said: A man came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) complaining about his father, saying that he had taken his wealth. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to him: and he mentioned it. It was also reported by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (p. 138 - its additions and no. 1259 - Kashf al-Astār): Wahb ibn Yaḥyá narrated to us, Maymūn ibn Yazīd narrated to us with it.
