it was narrated by al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" and in "al-Awsaṭ" from him: "The child is from the earnings of the parent" only, and in it is Maymūn ibn Yazīd, who was deemed weak by Abū Ḥātim, and Wahb ibn Yaḥyá ibn Zamām, for whom I did not find a biography, and the rest of the narrators are trustworthy. And in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (by Ibn Abī Ḥātim) (4/1/239): "Maymūn ibn Zayd Abū Ibrāhīm al-Saqqāʾ, a Basran, narrated from Layth..." Then he mentioned from his father that he said: "Weak in ḥadīth." And he summarized it in "al-Mīzān," except that he said in his lineage: "ibn Zayd or ibn Yazīd Abū Ibrāhīm." The ḥāfiẓ added in "al-Lisān" and said: "Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in 'al-Thiqāt' as ibn Zayd ibn Abī ʿAbs (1) ibn Jabr al-Anṣārī al-Ḥārithī from the people of Medina, narrated by the people of Hijaz. I said: And it seems to me that this is not the one whom Abū Ḥātim deemed weak, for this one is from Medina, and that one is from Basra, so they are different, and he is the one whom Ibn Ḥibbān considered trustworthy. And Allāh knows best. Then I found what supports what I mentioned about the differentiation, as I saw that Ibn Abī Ḥātim also mentioned the one from Medina before the one from Basra in a biography and said: "Narrated from his father, narrated by..." Thus, the original left a blank for the narrator from him and did not mention any criticism or commendation. Likewise, al-Bukhārī did before him in "al-Tārīkh" (4/1/341), but it is inferred from it to fill the blank in "al-Jarḥ," as al-Bukhārī said: "Counted among the people of Medina." " رواه البزار والطبراني في " الكبير " وفي " الأوسط " منه الولد من كسب الوالد " فقط وفيه ميمون بن يزيد لينه أبو حاتم، ووهب ابن يحيى بن زمام لم أجد من ترجمه وبقية رجاله ثقات ". والذي في " الجرح والتعديل " (لابن أبي حاتم (٤ / ١ / ٢٣٩): " ميمون بن زيد أبو إبراهيم السقاء بصري روى عن ليث ... ". ثم ذكر عن أبيه أنه قال: " لين الحديث ". وذكر خلاصته في " الميزان " إلا أنه قال في نسبه: " ابن زيد أو ابن يزيد أبو إبراهيم ". زاد الحافظ في " اللسان " فقال: " وذكره ابن حبان في " الثقات " ابن زيد بن أبي عبس (١) ابن جبر الأنصاري الحارثي من أهل المدينة روى عنه أهل الحجاز. قلت: ويبدو لي أن هذا غير الذي لينه أبو حاتم، فهذا مدني، وذاك بصري، فافترقا، وأنه الذي وثقه ابن حبان. والله أعلم. ثم وجدت ما يؤيد ما ذكرته من التفريق، فقد رأيت ابن أبي حاتم قد أورد أيضا المدني قبل البصري بترجمة وقال: " روى عن أبيه، روى عنه ... ". كذا الأصل بيض للراوي عنه ولم يذكر فيه جرحا ولا تعديلا. وكذلك فعل قبله البخاري في " التاريخ " (٤ / ١ / ٣٤١) لكن يستفاد منه إملاء البياض الذي في " الجرح "، فقد قال البخاري: " يعد في أهل المدينة ". وكأنه يعني أنه روى عنه
