and Saʿīd al-Jurayrī followed him according to Abū Yaʿlá, pairing him with Jabir ibn Ḥabīb. The first part of it has a witness from the ḥadīth of Jābir ibn Samurah who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) pointing with his finger while in prayer, and when he finished, I heard him say:" and he mentioned it without saying: "immediate and delayed" in both places. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (no. 2058) through the route of Qays ibn al-Rabīʿ from ʿĀʾidh ibn Naṣīb who said: I heard Jābir ibn Samurah. I said: And Qays ibn al-Rabīʿ has poor memory. And ʿĀʾidh ibn Naṣīb was deemed reliable by Ibn Maʿīn. Abū Ḥātim said: A shaykh, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (3/208).
"O Allāh, I ask You from Your bounty and mercy, for none possesses them except You." It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (5/36 and 7/239) through the route of al-Ṭabarānī, and this is in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (no. 10379). ʿAbdān ibn Aḥmad narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn Ziyād al-Barjamī narrated to us, ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Mūsá narrated to us from Masʿar from Zubayd from Mirrah from ʿAbd Allāh who said: "The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) received a guest, so he sent to his wives seeking food from them, but did not find any with any of them. He then said: (and he mentioned it) and a roasted sheep was gifted to him, so he said: This is from the bounty of Allāh, and we are awaiting mercy." Abū Nuʿaym said: "It is rare from the ḥadīth of Masʿar and Zubaydah, and al-Barjamī was unique in narrating it." I said: He was deemed reliable by Ibn Ḥibbān, Ibn Ishkāb, and al-Faḍl ibn Saʿd al-Aʿraj as in "al-Lisān". As for Abū Ḥātim, he did not know him and said: "Unknown" as narrated by his son (3/2/258) from him, and al-Dhahabī followed him in "al-Mīzān" and others. And all the other narrators are reliable, so the isnād is authentic in my view. And al-Haythamī said in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (10/159):
