and Aḥmad (2/162 and 192) from al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh from Yūsuf ibn Māhak from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr who said: "I used to write down everything I heard from the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) intending to preserve it, but Quraysh forbade me, saying: 'Do you write down everything while the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) is a human who speaks in anger and in pleasure?' So I stopped writing, and I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he pointed with his finger to his mouth and said: so he mentioned it. al-Ḥākim said: "The narrators of this ḥadīth have all been relied upon except for this al-Walīd, and I think he is al-Walīd ibn Abī al-Walīd al-Shāmī, for he is al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh, and the kunyah has prevailed over his father's name. If so, then Muslim has relied upon him." Thus he said, but in fact, he is al-Walīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Mughīth, a client of Banū al-Dār, a Hijāzī, and he is trustworthy as stated by Ibn Maʿīn and Ibn Ḥibbān.

"Its milk is a cure, its fat is a remedy, and its meat is a disease. Meaning the cow." It was narrated by al-Baghawī in "Ḥadīth ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd" (11/122/1) from Zuhayr (meaning ibn Muʿāwiyah) from his wife - and he mentioned that she was truthful - that she heard Malīkah bint ʿUmar - and he mentioned that she returned the sheep to their owners during the leadership of ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) that she was given cow fat for an ailment she had, and she said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: so he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is good, if Allāh wills, and it was also narrated by Abū Dāwūd in "al-Marāsīl," al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr," Ibn Mandah in "al-Maʿrifah," and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ṭibb" in a similar manner as in "al-Maqāṣid al-Ḥasanah," and he said (331): "Its narrators are trustworthy, but the narrator from Malīkah is not named, and the narrator from her, Zuhayr ibn Muʿāwiyah, one of the reliable narrators, described her as truthful and as his wife, and Abū Dāwūd mentioned it in his "Marāsīl" due to his uncertainty about Malīkah's companionship, although a group affirmed her companionship, and it has supporting narrations from Ibn Masʿūd, which he raised:
