"he is unknown and the report is objectionable..." then he cited this from the narration of al-ʿUqaylī. In summary, the ḥadīth with this last wording is weak due to the anonymity of this Balhaṭ, and the narrator from him, ʿAbd al-Majīd, is weak. As for the wording of the translation, it is authentic due to its various routes and supporting evidence, and for this reason, I included it in "Ṣaḥīḥ al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr" unlike the ḥadīth of Balhaṭ, which I included in "Ḍaʿīf al-Jāmiʿ al-Ṣaghīr," and I had printed a commentary on it, so it should be removed because it is a clear error that becomes evident to anyone who reads this verification. Allāh is the one whose help is sought.

"The earth will be filled with tyranny and injustice, and when it is filled with tyranny and injustice, Allāh will send a man from me, whose name is my name, and he will fill it with equity and justice, just as it was filled with tyranny and injustice." It was narrated by al-Bazzār (pp. 236-237 - Zawāʾid Ibn Ḥajar) and Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (129/1) and Abū Nuʿaym in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/165) from Dāwūd ibn al-Muḥabbar who reported from his father al-Muḥabbar ibn Qaḥdham from his father Qaḥdham ibn Sulaymān from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah from his father as marfūʿ. Al-Bazzār said: "It was narrated by Maʿmar from Hārūn from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah from Abū al-Ṣiddīq from Abū Saʿīd, and Dāwūd and his father are weak." Similarly, al-Haythamī weakened them in "al-Majmaʿ" (7/314) saying: "It was narrated by al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" and "al-Awsaṭ" through the route of Dāwūd ibn al-Muḥabbar ibn Qaḥdham from his father, and both are weak." So he said! But in "Zawāʾid al-Bazzār," al-Bazzār was followed up with the statement after the words I quoted earlier: "I said: Rather, Dāwūd is a liar."
