"weak in memory." He has another supporting narration from the ḥadīth of Anas ibn Mālik (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), whose source was previously cited in volume three, number (1407). (Note): Regarding the phrase: (armat), al-Ḥarbī said: "This is how the ḥadīth narrators say it, but I do not know its meaning. The correct form is: wa-qad arammtu, meaning 'I have become decayed,' as Allāh said: *Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?* (Yā Sīn, 36:78). - "Increase your recitation of 'There is no power nor might except with Allāh,' for it is a treasure from the treasures of Paradise." It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/333): Yaḥyá ibn Yazīd ibn ʿAbd al-Malik narrated to us (original: from ʿAbd al-Malik) from his father, from Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is weak due to the weakness of Yaḥyá ibn Yazīd and his father. He is al-Nawfalī. However, the ḥadīth is authentic, as it has another route and supporting narrations. As for the route, it was narrated by al-Tirmidhī (2/280) through the chain of Makhūl from Abū Hurayrah with it. He said: "Its isnād is not connected; Makhūl did not hear from Abū Hurayrah." As for the supporting narrations, they are from the ḥadīth of Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī with Aḥmad and others, and it was authenticated by Ibn Ḥibbān (2338), and from the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar. They were both cited under the ḥadīth of Ibn Masʿūd mentioned earlier, number (105). The ḥadīth was attributed by al-Suyūṭī to Ibn ʿAdī only from Abū Hurayrah! And al-Munāwī approved it!
