it was recorded by al-Dārimī (2/447): Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated from Salamah. From this chain, it was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (2/260) who said: "The isnād is authentic!" And he said in the first place: "Authentic according to the conditions of al-Bukhārī and Muslim." al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: It is as they said, and it is more authentic than the marfūʿ, but it is considered marfūʿ because it is not said based on opinion. And Allāh knows best. Then I saw the ḥadīth in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṭabarānī al-Kabīr" (8642 - 8645) from various chains, including two chains from Shuʿbah and ʿĀṣim from Abū al-Aḥwaṣ, with it being mawqūf. This indicates that whoever reported it as marfūʿ from ʿĀṣim has erred. However, in any case, it is considered marfūʿ as previously mentioned. And Allāh knows best.
أخرجه الدارمي (٢ / ٤٤٧) : حدثنا أبو نعيم حدثنا شعبة عن سلمة. ومن هذا الوجه أخرجه الحاكم (٢ / ٢٦٠) أيضا وقال: " صحيح الإسناد "! وقال في الموضع الأول: " صحيح على شرط الشيخين ". ووافقه الذهبي. قلت: وهو كما قالا، وهو أصح من المرفوع، ولكنه في حكم المرفوع لأنه لا يقال من قبل الرأي. والله أعلم. ثم رأيت الحديث في " معجم الطبراني الكبير " (٨٦٤٢ - ٨٦٤٥) من طرق، منها طريقان عن شعبة وعاصم عن أبي الأحوص به موقوفا. فدل ذلك على أن من رفعه عن عاصم فقد وهم. ولكنه على كل حال في حكم المرفوع كما تقدم. والله أعلم.
"Indeed, this Quran was revealed in seven modes, so whichever you recite is correct (in another narration: you have done well), and do not dispute over it, for disputing over it is disbelief." It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/204/205) from the chain of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Jaʿfar ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Maswar ibn Makhramah who said: Yazīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Usāmah ibn al-Hād informed me from Busr ibn Saʿīd from Abū Qays, the freed slave of ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ, who said: "ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ heard a man reciting a verse from the Quran, and he said: Who taught you this? He replied: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). He said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) taught it to me differently! So they went to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and one of them said: O Messenger of Allāh, such and such verse, and then he recited it. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: It was revealed like this. Then the other said: O Messenger of Allāh, and recited it to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and said: Is it not like this, O Messenger of Allāh? He said: It was revealed like this. Then the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is authentic, its men are trustworthy according to the conditions of Muslim
" إن هذا القرآن أنزل على سبعة أحرف، فأي ذلك قرأتم أحسنتم (وفي رواية: أصبتم) ، ولا تماروا فيه، فإن المراء فيه كفر ". أخرجه أحمد (٤ / ٢٠٤ / ٢٠٥) من طريق عبد الله بن جعفر بن عبد الرحمن بن المسور بن مخرمة قال: أخبرني يزيد بن عبد الله بن أسامة بن الهاد عن بسر بن سعيد عن أبي قيس مولى عمرو بن العاص قال: " سمع عمرو بن العاص رجلا يقرأ آية من القرآن، فقال: من أقرأكها؟ قال: رسول الله ﷺ، قال: فقد أقرأنيها رسول الله ﷺ على غير هذا! فذهبا إلى رسول الله ﷺ، فقال أحدهما: يا رسول الله آية كذا وكذا، ثم قرأها قال رسول الله ﷺ: هكذا أنزلت، فقال الأخر: يا رسول الله فقرأها على رسول الله ﷺ، فقال: أليس هكذا يا رسول الله؟ قال: هكذا أنزلت، فقال رسول الله ﷺ ... فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد صحيح، رجاله ثقات على شرط مسلم.
